Textbook Heer M40 sidecap with 100% period time insignia. The eagle is attached by hand and machine, the cockade is attached by machine. White soutache also attached by machine. Typical zinc grommets. Cotton lining with a "Hermann Potthof" maker's mark and a "1941" date stamp. "55" size marked.
