Very nice early 4-pocket service tunic for an Obergfreiter serving with Fliegerhorstkommandantur Briest. The lining is "Fl.H.Kdtr. Briest (Westh.) 1938" unit marked and dated. Furthermore, there are size stamps, a maker's mark as well as a "Schönwalde" depot stamp.
The tunic comes with the correct early 1st pattern breast eagle. EM/NCO "droptail" pattern. Attached by hand. Collar tabs are attached by hand as well. Early yellow cord around the collar.
Studying this tunic closely it needs to be stated that the insignia were professionally re-attached. Everything, however, is correct and original.
Nice period time attached loops for 3 awards. One Iron Cross 1st Class which looks to be worn with a screw back and one award with a horizontal pin. Furthermore loops for a ribbon bar and loops for a Spanish Cross.
