Well worn M40 single decal helmet. Original "rough" fieldgrey paint to the shell. Bits of white winter camo paint on top of the fieldgrey factory paint. The white paint is also covering the eagle decal which shines through. The markings to the shell are not visible due to the fieldgrey paint.
Replaced original liner with an old cord (not correct). Signs of use and damage. Unmarked soft leather chin strap.
