This item belonged to Gebirgsjäger Oberleutnant Stiefenhofer serving with Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 99. Apart from other awards, he was awarded the Close Combat Clasp in bronze for at least 15 days of close combat as well as the Iron Cross 1st Class. The grouping had been displayed in a box.
