Rare "Ersatz" Pickelhaube M1895 manufactured from 1915. Prussia. Classic felt helmet with grey color steel fittings. Textbook construction without front visor trim or rear spine.
Removing the badge nicely proofs that this badge set here since 100 years. There is a clear shadow the badge had left over the decades. No extra holes.
One 1cm long cut to the front visor. Original attached leather chin strap with "Reichskokarde" and Prussian "Landeskokarde".
Named to the rare visor as well as to the inside. Intact leather lining with remains of the original leather cord. Still flexible and soft.
