The lot consists of:

- Wehrpass to Hauptmann d.R.z.V. Ernst Philipps. Issued on 30. September 1936. With original attached photo. Units he served are on page 12. Campaign list on page 32. He was awarded with 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Wound Badge in Black, Honor Cross of WWI, 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords and the East Medal. Philipps was killed by a shell splinter on August 3, 1942, in Russia. Condition 2.

- Three photo albums of the western and eastern front with a total of 368 photos. Furthermore 25 single photos. The photos show the everyday life at the front, crashed airplanes, tanks shot down, Generals with Knight's Cross, etc. also the grave of Hauptmann Philipps. Condition 2.

- A book about the history of the Normandy area in which the Division was used where Hauptmann Philipps served. 43 pages. Nice condition 2.
