Unworn M43 field cap in condition 1. The cap was made in September 1944 and was probably never issued. It is stamped with a "Reichsbetriebsnummer" as well as a "9/44" date stamp and a "57" size marking to the cotton lining.
The machine-woven triangle cap badge is attached by machine. There are uniform buttons hand-attached to the cap.
