A nicely decorated gilded brass hilt with a lion's head to the top. It comes with red glass eyes. The knuckle guard (bow) displays an eagle with swastika. Two langets, the front shows a small sword. Black bakelite grip with intact brass wire wrap. No chipping.
Clean blade with slight signs of use. "Höller, Solingen" maker marked. Original black factory painted scabbard (around 80 % present). No dents. A screw was replaced.
Including the matching cloth bag and portepee.
Overall matching patina.
Signs of use and age. Good condition. A rare pattern!
