Wehrpass to Oberstleutnant and Regimentskommandeur Otto Gerhardt Thoma serving with Artillerie-Regiment 22. He died in a plane crash near Belgrade when he flew from Vienna to Athens on 22. October 1942.

Awards: Heer 4 years Long Service Award, Heer 12 years Long Service Award, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class, Order of the Crown of Romania 4th class, German Cross in Gold, East Medal, General Assault Badge and the Krim Shield (not listed in the Wehrpass).

An interesting campaign list from 26.08.1939 to 31.12.1941. He was deployed in Belgium, Holland, France, Russia and the Crimean Peninsula. Please note the entry: "Luftlandung und Kämpfe in der Festung Holland".

Furthermore his dog tag. Made of aluminium. Stamped "1" and "II./A.R.22."  (1 = for a regimental commander)
