Extremely interesting Wehrmacht M42 helmet which was cut to the bottom part. It was found in the "Steiermark" region which is close to the Yugoslavian border. A red star was painted to the front sideThere look to be several layers of period time paint to the shell.
Original German lining and chin strap in place and still flexible.
The helmet looks to be size 57.
