Rare grouping to the Kriegsmarine ships boy Friedrich Meyer. Meyer was well awarded. Part of the grouping is also his father 1907 paybook.
There is his Soldbuch which comes inside a fine Soldbuch cover. The actual cover of the book is missing but all pages are complete. April 1944 issued. Page 4 lists his awards (hard to see): 1.3.41 Narvik Shield. 21.8.42 Blockade Runner Badge, 2.5.44 Iron Cross 2nd Class, 9.5.44 Minesweeper War Badge.
The certificate to the Blockade Runner Badge is still part of the grouping. Small size type issued to "Kochsjunge" (kitchen boy) Friedrich Meyer on 21.8.42. It is glued (can be removed) to on a piece or thick paper. Also a letter confirming he was awarded the Narvik Shield. Again addressed to "Kochsjunge Friedrich Meyer". This letter sent from the Norddeutscher Lloyd was sent with the award certificate and 2 Narvik Shield originally as it says.
A very rare sleeve shield AUSBILDUNGS-SCHIFF ADMIRAL BROOMY and a beautiful 1957 4 place miniature lapel pin.
Finally his aluminum dog tag and a what looks to be a Persian boxing medal. Finally his personal SEEFAHRTBUCH. A postwar 1950s ID booklet with a nice photo of him inside as well as additional papers proofing he kept his job after the war.
