A very interesting wartime EM/NCO sidecap for a Panzerjäger soldier. It looks to have been front-tailored using cotton lining which shows size stamps and a "43" date stamp for uniforms.
Both cap insignia are definitely period time attached by hand and so is the pink color "soutache". The cap comes with a dark green M36 pattern cap eagle and a later M40 pattern cockade. Please note that the tailor did not add grommets. The soldier preferred to sew the lining together to provide a more smarter "look" when being worn.
A very special cap which could certainly tell some story.
