Luftwaffe tropical so-called "Hermann Meyer" visor cap. A very rare type for officers with a machine-woven silver officer's cap eagle along with an officer's chin strap. Scarce machine-woven insignia both originally attached by machine. In fact, the wreath badge was attached with the thread which was used for the cap band. Please see details.
Iron grommets. Complete with both original chin strap buttons.
Fine red linen liner. 56,5 size stamped.
No signs of wear. Nice patina. Minor stains. Good condition 2.
Inner stabilisation band of the cap band broken twice.
