BESCHREIBUNG ANSEHEN

Heer German Cross in Gold grouping to Major Heinz Oppermann serving with 3.Pionier Bataillon 72.The lot consists of:

1.Wehrpass to Major Heinz Oppermann. Issued on 25.2.1937. With original attached photo. His units are on page 12. Huge campaign list from 18.12.2939 - 26.9.1942. He fought in France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Russia and on the island Crimea at the Battle of Sevastopol. Awarded with 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, West Wall Medal, 1939 Wound Badge in Black, 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class, Romanian Order of the Crown 5th Class with Swords, German Cross in Gold, 1939 Wound Badge in Silver, General Assault Badge, 1939 Wound Badge in Gold, Crusade Against Communism Medal, Krim shield. Exciting Wehrpass in good condition. Full of notes and interesting autographs.

2. Certificate to Westwall Medal. Issued on 20.3.1940. Signed by a Major. Two holes. Condition 2.

3. Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Issued on 17.6.1940. Signed by Generalleutnant Franz Mattenklott (Knight's Cross winner). Two holes. Folded. Condition 2.

4. Certificate to 1939 Wound Badge in Black. Issued on 19.9.1940. Signed by a Major. Two holes. Condition 2.

5. Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class. Issued on 2.5.1941. Signed by Generalleutnant Franz Mattenklott (Knight's Cross winner). Two holes. Condition 2.

6. Certificate to 1939 Wound Badge in Silver. Issued on 21.11.1941. Signed by Hauptmann and Commander Bloch.Two holes. Folded. Condition 2.

7. Certificate to German Cross in Gold. issued on 1.12.1941. Signed by Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Brauchitsch (Knight's Cross winner). Two holes. Folded. Condition 2.
