Waterloo Medal to Anton Rahls serving with 1.Jäger Bataillon. Round medal made of gun bronze with rim, one eyelet with ribbon ring on top. Inscription on the rim of the wearer. The frontside is showing the left looking breast portrait of Duke Friedrich Wilhelm with uniform, in the sleeve section sits the signature "C. Häseler". The backside is showing the year 1815, these surrounded by a wreath. It consists of an oak leaf branch on the right and a laurel branch crossed on the lower left. At the edge of the upper half the bent writing: "Brunswick his warriors". At the edge of the lower half the curved writing: "Quatrebras and Waterloo". Upper and lower letters are separated by 2 flowers on the right and left.

Condition 2.

The Waterloo Medal was a campaign medal of the Duchy of Brunswick. The medal was awarded to troops and officers from Brunswick who participated in the Battles of Quatre Bras and Waterloo.
