Heer artillery officer's visor cap 1st pattern (alter Art). A so-called "crusher cap" with soft leather visor. The cap comes with an originally attached machine-woven wreath badge but with its original machine-woven cap eagle missing. You can still see the stitching holes. Instead, the cap comes with a political cap eagle. It is not really attached to the cap even if it got all three prongs.
Silk lining. Sweat-band with maker's mark EREL. The gold color silk lining is also EREL maker marked. A 1942 dated newspaper page was hiding underneath the sweat-band.
