Well worn black Heer M43 field cap worn by a Panzer officer. Correct silver cord. EM/NCO machine-woven triangle cap badge attached by hand. Silk lining with clear signs of wear and age. Size "58" marked. Sweat-stains.
Two quite large rips repaired with a few stitches quite sloppy. Uncommon iron buttons which, however, look period time attached.
A very interesting "been there" officer's field cap in untouched condition. A very late war production. Condition 2-. No moth damage.
