Well worn M43 field cap with original Waffen-SS insignia professionally postwar applied. The cap itself looks to be one truely worn by a Waffen-SS soldier since a shadow where a formerly attached skull was attached can clearly be seen.
Bevo machine-woven EM/NCO insignia. Skull attached by hand, the cap eagle attache by machine. Silk lining showing a size "56" stamp. Nicely worn condition. Patina and signs of age.
Re-attached buttons with full factory paint.
No moth damage. Well worn condition 2. Nice patina.
