Early sidecap with a name tag athached to the lining. It was worn by Jungschütze Gerhard Hoffmann serving with Heeres-Unteroffizier-Vorschule based in Deggendorf. "4. Kompanie". 

Typical early style cotton lining with a marker mark. "54" size marked. Zinc grommets. re-attached machine-woven insignia attached by hand. Removed soutache.

Well worn condition. No moth damage but plenty of rust stains.
