Heer M40 helmet with original lining. The shell comes with well over 90% of the original factory color. The rivets look period time attached. The leather is still soft. It is size 58 stamped and named. The cord is an old leather strap but not a proper factory cord for the liner.
The inside of the helmet shows rust pitting. It must have been stored up-side-down and got wet.
The stamps to the shell are barely visible.
The chin strap is a modern replica.
Nice helmet in good condition.
