The blade is in good condition. Slight stains. No maker's mark. Gilt brass hilt fittings. A lion's head as pommel with two red glass eyes inserted. Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. No chipping. The front langet shows the national eagle with outstretched wings. Period time black re-painted steel scabbard. However, there are still remains of the original black factory paint. No dents.
