Early Luftwaffe tropical field tunic as issued to troops of the Afrikakorps. While unworn examples are around from time to time this is a clearly worn and "been there" tunic which most probably saw action in Africa!
The breast eagle and the shoulder boards were removed. Note that these tunics were worn without shoulder boards.
GÜNTHERMANN maker marked and size stamped. Purple cotton lining. All buttons originally attached with their correct rings and with original factory color.
