The blade comes with the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". Black stains. RZM "7/80" and "1197/39 SS" maker marked and dated. A black wooden grip with original attached SS roundel and eagle. Chipping and a small repair to the top. Nickel crossguards.
Original but repainted steel scabbard with nickel fittings. 100 % of the paint is present. Two screws are missing as well as a dent to the final ("ball"). Including the black leather hanger. RZM "M5/8" and "A" (Assmann) maker marked and "DRGM" marked to the snap clip. Fully working.
