Wehrmacht M42-model steel-helmet ('Stahlhelm') being a yellowish-tan-coloured- (ie. so-called: 'Sudfront'-) example that was presumably re-painted.
The piece - which shows a hard-to-read lot-number stamped in its rim that reads: '4/64 - 1336' (or alike) - comes with its incomplete and somewhat damaged liner that still retains its period cord. The liner bears a clearly visible ink-stamp that reads: '57'. The helmet regrettably misses one of its rivets.
