Rare Wehrmacht pack only issued for the signal corps (Nachrichtentruppe).
Maker marked and "193?" dated as well as named to the back. Hard to read! No pack number to the reverse. The lower strap of the left shoulder strap is attached with a cord and a small piece of the right shoulder strap is missing. Furthermore, the small leather strap on the left side is damaged. Typical cowhide cover. The interior (compartments) is missing.
Members of the signal troops had specialized packs. The packs held various communication equipment. The different models (1,2 and 3) have slightly different content inside.
