Clearly worn badge with lots of patina. Nicely named to W.ACHE - III. F.J.Rgt.1 - 11.Kp. Furthermore he wrote the date 1939 to the wreath as well as a city name which is too hard to read.
There is a Unteroffizier Willi Ache listed in the Volksbund database. He was born in 1912 and killed in action on 18.7.1944. He is buried at La Cambe, Normandy.
