A very early rare Kavallerie crusher cap! Probably around 1935 and still very similar to a Reichswehr cap. Nice matching tombak insignia. A very small skull which could indicate this soldier served with Kav.Rgt.5.
Gold-yellow piping with a lot of patina. It almost looks orange but has still bright colors where it was covered from sun and dust.
There are no moth holes to the cap. There are 3-4 really small holes (also underneath the eagle) however we believe they are due to some wear to the cap.
This cap survived in a theater stock after the war. They added a new sweat-band and left two stamps to the liner.
