Uniform grouping to an Oberstleutnant

Beschreibung
Family purchased uniform grouping to an Oberstleutnant. According to our consigner, the son did not sell any documents or photos and does not want to publish the name of his father. However he was kind enough to provide some details in German language (scroll down). In short, he was born in 1907 and was either killed in action or committed suicide on 19.4.1945. He served with Gren.Rgt.524 and 976 (earlier Inf.Rgt.425 and 976) and was awarded the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, the German Cross in gold (no proof), the Close Combat Clasp in bronze and several other awards (see list below).

Light weight summer field tunic he had worn as a Major. 100% period time attached insignia. Breast eagle and collar tabs attached by machine. Nice signs of wear. Original attached awards loops including loops for the Close Combat Clasp. Typical Austrian style (pockets). Size M. No damage. Condition 2.

Clearly worn field tunic he had worn as a Hauptmann. Light weight. Faded. 100% original attached insignia. Collar tabs attached by machine, breast eagle attached by hand. Unknown label with a number. Well worn. A great character tunic in good condition 2. Size M.

Slightly worn officers sidecap with 100% original attached insignia. Silver, machine-cap eagle. White piping. Purple cotton liner with sweat-band. Size 57. Slight moth damage.

Officers coat for a he had worn as a Major of Infanterie. Tailor by Schwarz & Sohn, München. Moth holes. Minor signs of wear. Condition 2-. Size M.

A nice untouched grouping!
