Fine Gebirgsjäger officer´s visor cap by EREL. Beautiful silk golden liner. Celluloid diamond to the liner. No cracks or damage. The markings below read:

EREL Patent Stirnschutz marked brown sweat-band in very nice condition. No cracks or signs of wear.
Green piped cap for Gebirgsjäger. Definitely the correct color which is different to the green piping for civil servants.
Matching aluminium insignia. The cockade looks a little earlier but is definitely also original to the cap. The liner is still sewn entirely torwards the visor so no room to re-attach insignia. H39 dated.
No moth holes. Very nice condition 1-2. Probably unworn. One prong of the cap eagle is missing.
