Third Reich period time enamel DRK (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz = German Red Cross) sign. Large eagle with swastika holding a red cross. The black enamel of the eagle is untouched. No chips or damage. The red cross is also absolutely fine. The black rim going around loops repainted. There are some chips underneath the color. One white spot of color to the right bottom corner.
Restored to the reverse. Modern color. Rust pits underneath.
A very nice and rare sign. A beautiful eagle! Size: 27,5cm + 31cm.
