Untouched Third Reich period time Gendarmerie shako. EM/NCO. Made by HANS RÖMER, Neu-Ulm. Nicely maker marked to the inside and size 56 stamped. There is a 1937 date stamp to the inside of the sweat-band which is still very soft. There are no signs of wear.
Matching aluminium cockade and eagle original to this shako. Nice leather chin strap.
