Extremely rare document grouping to platoon leader SS-Oberscharführer Heinz Behrens serving with SS-Gebirgs-Division "Nord" during WW2. His main battle fields were in Norway and Finland. Berehens joined the NSDAP on 1.9.1939 and volunteerd to SS-Totenkopf-Standarte in Dachau on 30.11.1939. Berehns was killed in action in January 1945 in West Germany. Part of the grouping is also a photocopy of a 31.1.1945 letter of his Kompanie leader explaining his father who he died. Furthermore a document of his Ortsgruppenleiter confirming he was killed in action South West of Bitsch/Lothringen on 7.1.1945 and his original large size death card. Furthermore a small size photo showing Berehns as a young HJ boy as well as modern reproductions of original photographes.

An extremely rare and very interesting grouping in nice condition to a highly decorated soldier. A must have for every serious collector of Nothern Europe Campaign related collectables.
