Imperial Bavarian EM/NCO's spike helmet for a soldier serving in the Infanterie-Regiment 21. A fine completely matching example with fieldgrey insignia (all metal parts are magnetic). Original attached insignia. One leather strap holding the front insignia missing. Removable spike. Unit stamped: "21.I.R." to the rear visor. Leather chin strap. Fine black-white-red Reichskokarde as well as the Bavarian white-blue cockade.
Leather helmet in good shape. Untouched helmet which must have seen service on the Western Front.
