Superb Wehrmacht issue hand air raid alarm siren, this specific type was issue to the troops, it was made to be carry at the shoulder with the green web carrying strap but also on the belt with the specific reinforced leather belt loop, nicely marked with the waffenamt. The siren makes an even louder sound when the spring loaded lever is pulled in the direction of the red arrow. It is marked with the maker’s name and the date « MENDE 1940 ». The original factory paper label is still present, it mention that this specific screw is used to attach the protective cover. This is truly a rare equipment piece especially in this complete and unissued condition.
