Extremely rare Third Reich M39 Diplomat's Dagger ("Dolch für Diplomaten").
Nickel-plated steel blade showing the maker's mark of ALCOSO Solingen. Stained on both sides and the tip is a little bent.
Silver-plated tombak fittings with patina. The eagle on the crossguard looks to the right. Nice mother-of-pearl grip plates that are free of chipping and cracks. The original pommel screw is in place. Silvered-plated steel scabbard. It has two dents. Typical ALCOSO scabbard bands.
Comes with the matching small-size portepee and gold-plated dagger hangers. Aluminum fittings and snap clips. All three are fully functional.
Signs of wear and the handle plus the crossguard are a little loose (wobbles).
