Nickel-plated steel blade with some tarnishing and signs of sharpening marked the stamped maker mar for Peter Daniel Krebs Solingen.
Nickel-plated iron handle fittings with a significant amount of loss and patination. The pommel bears the SS runes. Blackened wooden handle. Original black-finished steel scabbard with a nickel-plated fitting showing similar wear to the rest of the sword. "SS" marked with overlayed runes on the throat. It has no dents.
