A nicely worn helmet. Fieldgrey color is about 50% with a degree of surface rust to the outside and inside. There is no only about 10% of the eagle remaining. The liner looks to be original to the shell.
The rivets show the same color than the rest of the shell but the structure is more smooth since it was worn off here.
On the inside the helmet is named in white paint to. Uffz Krötsch. Leather lining iincludes the cord shows significant age but is complete.
Chin Strap is missing.
Maker Mark is present but unreadable and there's a stamp N22 on the inner rear. At the dome there appears to be a faint inspection stamp.
