Luftwaffe M40 single decal combat helmet. The helmet comes with a period time yellow and green camo paint to the outer shell. There is some pitting but over 85% of the original camo paint is still in place. The eagle decal is about 80%.
The shell itself had a very dark blue factory paint. You can see it to the inside. It was not painted black at any time! There is some white fox staining to the inside. No white paint!
The shell is SE64 marked. The liner and cord is original but was re-attached. The rivets were added later.
