Untouched Heer M40 "battle damaged" single decal helmet. I'm sure the soldier survived and sent the helmet home as a remembrance. The liner looks absolutely matching to the shell and so do the rivets. The roughly, typical 1940s paint is well over 80% and the decal is about 65-70% due to some serious wear and use. NS64 marked shell.The size of the liner should be a 58. The chin strap was period time modified. The black strap to the liner is a privately added one.
