Very interesting Wehrmacht M40 helmet with multiple layers of camo paint. There is a painted white winter camo paint covered by another layer of sprayed period time brown/khaki paint. You can clearly see the white color is painted and the dark paint is sprayed. Both camos cover nearly 100% of the shell so no rust or paint missing.
The shell is SE64 (hard to read) stamped. The chin straps is 1940 dated and maker marked (a maker based in Prag). The liner is still soft and without damage. The size should be 56/57. The inside of the shell shows grey paint which reminds on the color of Kriegsmarine gear. It is named with white color.
A very interest helmet in good condition which could certainly tell some story!
