Well worn M42 helmet with a single eagle decal applied by the factory. The decal was scratched off but you can still see about 15%.
The shell comes with its original factory paint. Many scratches, some rust. The liner is period time applied. One rivet was opened once but all rivets belonged to the shell.
1939 dated and maker marked chin strap. Most probably replaced.
The lining and chin strap were oiled once and have darkened.
The size looks to be 56. Size and maker marks are not readable anymore.
