An excellent Gendarmerie visor cap for an officer with only minor signs of wear and almost no signs of age.
It sold by "Peter Küpper" based in Ronsdorf and comes with an intact celluloid diamond to the typical orange color lining. Size 56,5 marked. "1938" dated. Sweat-band with minor staining.
Cap with two ventilation holes to each side. Perfect saddle shape. Excellent officer's pattern cap eagle (slightly thicker than a EM/NCO eagle) and matching aluminum cockade. Both original to this cap.
Orange color piping. Typical brown cap badge (one tiny hole (moth?) just above the 1 o clock position of the eagle). Fine chin strap without corrosion.
