Certainly a very interesting Wehrmacht Heer visor cap with purple/bluish piping. Early tombak insignia. Silk lining. Nicely worn cap in good condition 2. Only 5 really tiny moth bites to the cap. Size 57. No stamps, no makers mark.
The purple/bluish piping does not look TSD / Medical / Transport to me. It definitely has a purple touch which would be "priest". We checked the color carefully at covered parts where we are looking at a fresh color which has not seen much light. The color is not sun bleached but was issued like that.
