Heer visor cap for officers. Former EM/NCO cap which was promoted to an officer's one.
Branch: Cavallery. "Goldgelb" color piping.
Insignia: Cink cap eagle and wreath badge with fresh air cockade. Both period time attached.
Chin strap: officer's strap. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: Fine light-blue color silk lining.
Celluloid diamond: damaged.
Sweat-band: Brown leather. Signs of wear and age but still soft. Manufacturers mark "Erel Stirndruckfrei" embossed to the left. Underneath the sweatband, the former wearer placed some newspaper sheets for more comfortable wearing.
Worn cap with patina and only a few small moth bites and stains.
