Insignia: Hand-embroidered officer's pattern cap wreath badge. Attached by hand. Aluminum eagle, missing its three factory-attached pins. One pin was period time re-attached to the reverse instead.
Chin strap: officer's strap. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: Fine gold-brown color silk lining with signs of wear and use.
Celluloid diamond: small damages to the sides.
Maker's mark: unreadable manufacturer mark from Munich. No size stamp.
Sweat-band: Signs of wear and age. Minor damage.
Very nice cap with character and patina, the color of the piping is a bit faded to the front and sides, but at the back, you can see the typical "Kornblumenblau" for medical troops.
