WH (Luftwaffe), officers'-pattern, 'Extra Qualität'-type visor-cap (ie. 'Schirmmütze') as was intended for usage by the various Luftwaffe commisioned- ie. officer-staff as was produced by the desirable 'Erel'-company.
The piece is executed in (typical) 'smooth-type'- and bluish-coloured wool and shows a beige-yellowish-coloured (and 'silk-like'-type-) lining and 'Celluloid'-based diamond, installed. This diamond is totally undamaged and has nicely protected the text: 'Verkaufs-Abteilung der Luftwaffe - Erel Sonderklasse - Privat' (as can be seen on the pictures).
The cap shows a neatly hand-embroidered, 'standard'-pattern, silver-coloured officers'-pattern cap-eagle and dito visor-cap-cocarde in place (which are both very detailed and which are attached by hand-stitching). The sweat-band is also fully intact (and also shows the impressed 'Erel'-logo as to be expected. The cap comes with its undamaged (and green-backed) visor and (period) silver cap-cord in place.
The cap - which has retained a beautiful shape ('Sattelform') - comes in an overall very nice condition and shows hardly any age nor wear. It is approximately 57 cms. sized and will with certainty fit a mannequins'-head.
