Extremely rare Gold Presentation Close Combat Clasp. Exclusively made by Juncker, Berlin. Type II (recessed catch). 

Very nice fire-gilded tombak clasp with polished edges. Burnished backplate (non-magnetic, as it must be). The backplate is attached with a rivet. Hinge, pin, and catch also non-magnetic. Additional suspension hook on the reverse of the eagle's head.

Length: 96.00 mm

Weight: 35.8 gr.

This type was personally awarded by Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler to 83 Waffen-SS and army soldiers at the City Hall Ulm on 12.12.1944.
