Very rare grouping of the Hildenbrand family. Obergefreiter Wilhelm Hildenbrand served in the Spanish Civil War (Legion Condor) and was awarded the Spanish Cross in Bronze with Swords. He died in a motorcycle accident in Spain on 25.02.1938. His parents were therefore awarded the Spanish Cross for Next-of-Kin.

Some original documents were sent to his parents. Includes a letter of condolence from Hermann Göring and a portrait photograph of him. Both signatures are facsimiles.
