Early hollow steel made General Assault Badge. Manufactured by the Lüdenscheid base maker Assmann & Söhne from Lüdenscheid. Properly marked with the maker "A" logo in the center of the swastika. What makes this variant very collectible is that it was the only GAB ever to be made from steel. Apart from minor finish loss the award survived in very good condition.
