Waffen-SS, M42-model (3rd pattern), reversible camouflaged-smock ('Tarnhemd') as executed in so-called: 'Plane Tree no. 3'-camo-pattern (ie. 'Platanenmuster no.3') as constructed from smooth-type, linen-based material.
The piece has two under-pockets (which are lined with brownish-yellow-coloured linnen) and comes in a wonderful (and only minimally used and worn), condition. It has very bright and vivid colours and was never cleaned nor washed.
It comes with its period (green-coloured) closing-cord and has all its elastic straps in place (which are still flexible and functional). The smock retains both its vent-holes (under the arms) and shows all loops (present to hold additional camouflaged material) in place.
The piece shows a clearly visible printed '3'-numeral on its right-arm and just shows minimal wear and age (some tiny holes and wear-marks are noticeable).
Simply a fantastic piece in a rarely seen camo-pattern that will be hard to be upgraded!
